My client is currently hiring for a Customer Services Manager to join their growing team based in Manchester. They are an ambitious brand with plans to grow further over the next few years and as such they are looking for motivated, dedicated staff who are very customer focused. You will have a mature approach to the role and will be comfortable working alone and as part of a wider team. You will have a hands-on approach regarding the day to day operations and functions of the business.

Role responsibilities:

  • Managing new and existing customer expectation
  • Create a great experience for the customer
  • Successfully address and resolve customer issues
  • Proactively seek out ways to improve customer service levels
  • Opening and closing the site
  • Utilising the in-house CRM software
  • Lead the store management schedule
  • Ensure site standards are maintained and exceeded
  • Ensuring individual areas of responsibility are fully undertaken
  • Co-ordinate activities with other team members
  • Ensure smooth management of customers and site issues

Essential requirements:

  • Previous customer service and store management experience is essential
  • Experience working for large retail organisations or distribution centres would be preferred
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Charismatic personality with the ability to engage face to face with customers
  • Ability to solve problems and work within an environment where quick thinking is required
  • Strong team player with a 'can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Computer literate
  • Must have a full UK driving licence with own vehicle

For the right candidate my client is offering a fantastic package:

  • Competitive base salary from £18,000 to £24,000 depending on experience
  • 40 hour working week to be worked over Mon - Sun on a rota basis. Hours are: Mon - Fri 8:30am to 6pm, Sat 10am to 4pm, Sun 10am to 2pm. 50% weekend working is required for this role
