Customer Services Manager

Our client based in Newgate Street are looking for a Customer Services Manager. The company buy old books from Universities and Libraries and re sell them through their website.

Key day to day duties:

  • Answer all emails and customer queries
  • Resolve all customer issues
  • Print two order runs per day
  • Address all anomalies - oversells, condition issues, incorrect titles, shelving errors etc
  • Process returns and refunds
  • Raise customer invoices
  • Book in courier parcels
  • Maintain spreadsheet records
  • Generate and upload postal records
  • Monitor and maintain excellent feedback, shipment, fulfilment and other ratings on various sales websites
  • Restock books
  • Check website notifications
  • Process claims
  • Data entry

Key requirements:

  • Experience of managing a workforce, processes and evaluate performance
  • Customer service experience
  • IT literate with the ability to learn in house system
  • Ability to work under pressure with a calm approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The position is full time, 9.30am - 6pm with 1/2 hour lunch. Must have own transport due to location.
