My client is looking to recruit a Customer Service / Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Supply Chain Administration team and the main part of the role will be to provide operational supply chain and customer service support. Through excellent account management you will ensure maximum customer satisfaction and business efficiencies.
Successful candidates need to have some experience gained in a supply chain function. A strong customer service background is desirable as is excellent attention to detail and good IT skills. When fully settled into the role the successful supply chain coordinator will be managing up to 20 Client Accounts, large and small and will be responsible for the day to day administration, which includes the setting up of new clients, customer orders, customer relationship management (complaint administration, credits and queries), system error handling, and master data related to material supply. The position requires interaction with internal and external sources, and will support the Supply Chain Manager in business and system processes. A minimal amount of time is spent on the phone, the majority of the work will be maintaining accurate and efficient records specific to orders and customer (this is done using a bespoke PC system) liaising with internal departments and email communication with clients. You will also be expected to participate in review meeting with key customers
-Experience of working in a logistics / supply chain environment
-Excellent IT skills including proficient in writing business emails
-Good attention to detail and mathematical and analytical skills.
-A confident communicator (both verbal and written) with a personable and professional manner and the ability to interact and relate to all levels of staff and build strong working relationships.
-Must be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail as this role requires a good level of numeracy and analytical skills.
-Manufacturing knowledge would be helpful
-Must be able to work both on your own and as part of a team
