Customer Services Assistant - French speaking

My client, a hugely successful US based organisation with a UK subsidiary in Abingdon, is looking for a French, Czech or Hungarian speaking individual with a background in customer service.

This team role requires individuals who are highly motivated, are passionate about customer service and science, in order to create a great customer experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service Sales Support
*Delivering and exceeding personal and Company sales targets through exceptional customer service
*Be the point of contact for incoming sales enquiries by telephone, e-mail and "live-chat"
*Provide quotations to customers and distributors and liaising with the sales teams to ensure opportunities flow through the CRM system
*Liaise with the Sales representatives in the field to ensure they are informed on customer/account updates.
*Ensure that the customer database is regularly updated and all information is logged
*Provide feedback to internal teams on relevant customer information, including any complaints, or updated information which might be relevant surrounding key accounts, and/or competition, etc.
*Ensure the after sales care and order follow up is carried out to deliver a great customer experience from start to finish of an order.
*Manage back order process to ensure customers are kept informed of any date changes
*Manage new account process and documentation required
*Processing of sales orders in an accurate and efficient manner when required
*Manage non-technical complaints
*CPD - Continually strive to improve personal development by updating new product knowledge by researching product/research markets

Operational responsibilities:

*Follow the Company's Minimum Standards set for the Customer Services Team
*Apply the Company's commercial and operational policy in relevant territories
*Work within guidelines of Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
*Work with customer facing staff to maximise communication and improve efficiencies within teams to ensure high levels of customer service

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

*GCSE or equivalent education passes in English and Maths
*Experience of working in a customer focused environment
*Fluent written and spoken English is essential
*Possess excellent IT skills, including experience of working with ERP/CRM platforms.
*Language skills : Fluent in Czech or Hungarian

*Ability to demonstrate a passion for customer service
*Be self-motivated and possess a "can do" attitude
*Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Czech/Hungary
*Excellent listening and rapport skills are required to build an engaging conversation with the customer for both UK and European customers
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks, multi-task efficiently and work under pressure
*Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
*Professional demeanour
*Enjoy working as part of a team to deliver results, to learn and to share knowledge
*Flexible attitude to cover work as required.
