Customer Service Technician
A Customer Care Technician is required for a 5* builder to provide maintenance for their 12 month defect and warranty period across developments in the Lancashire region.
You will be responsible for attending homes within your region carrying out various multi-skilled trades including joinery, plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, etc.
Salary is up to £25k paid on an hourly rate, company van with a fuel card to cover business mileage plus other company benefits. Working hours are Mon - Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3pm with half hour lunch

Customer Care Technician Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for attending new build homes within your region carrying out various multi skilled trades,. Duties to include:
" Carrying out repairs to domestic properties within warranty, as directed by Customer Service Team
" General maintenance including but not exhausted of the following: joinery repairs, decorating, tiling, flooring repairs, minor brickwork repairs, mastic seals
" Other repairs as deemed necessary
" Work alongside Customer Service Team to receive job instructions and diary management of repairs booked
" Provide updates of completed jobs, follow-up work required
" Work with office staff and field based staff to ensure service provision is maintained
" Plan workload including impending repairs, ensuring all materials required are obtained in advance
" Provide all materials delivery notes & receipts to the Customer Service Manager on a regular basis
" Provide mileage log to the Customer Service Manager on a weekly basis
Experience required for a Customer Care Technician
" Educated to GSCE / GCE standard in Maths & English
" BTEC Diploma in Building Construction/NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds in relevant trade
" CSCS Card
" 3 / 5 years' experience working for a residential house builder
" Detailed understanding of NHBC customer handover requirements
" Polite and courteous manner
" Excellent communication skills
