We’re offering a salary depending on your experience of between £17,143-£20,350 working 37.5 hours per week. You will also have the opportunity to increase your pay and develop your skills through our structured Pay Progression scheme and on top of this, you’ll also be rewarded with a bonus for your contribution and your great customer service. This, along with our Profit Share scheme of up to 5% of your salary further increases your overall earning potential. To help get you started, our dedicated trainers will spend the first 4 weeks with you in a dedicated training area before you head off to cut your teeth in our graduation bay for a further 4 weeks. So, don’t worry if you don’t have previous insurance experience, we’ll help you to be your best. As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll often be dealing with inbound calls from existing customers, answering questions, amending policy details, selling extra products and actioning general queries. Taking calls from all sorts of different customers, you’ll listen to them, make them feel valued and help them with their needs. The type of calls you’ll handle varies from Paul, who wants to insure his new car and Mary, who has 10 years no claims insurance and would like to renew today. Team Leaders are always close by, so you’ll be continually supported as you settle in with us.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in customer service is essential.

The jobholder must have outstanding customer focus ensuring customer expectations are met and problems are resolved.

Effective communication both verbal and ideally written is required.

The jobholder will strive to continually improve their performance against all relevant targets and provide ideas and feedback to both the Team Leader and their peers to improve processes, quality, complaint resolution and prevention.
