If you have an appreciation, or previous experience of, booking, scheduling or dispatching then we can give you all the training you'll need to become a Workflow Scheduling Technician. We're creating a brand new team of Schedulers who'll use SAP to build, plan and dispatch via the CLICK system, gang and field technician jobs. This means building and allocating work quickly, and effectively issuing all emergency/high priority work. Scheduling is just one part of this job as the team will be responsible for MI analysis, data creation, driving performance, and process solutions. As it's a new team, continuous improvement will play a huge part in this role - you'll help shape the way the team works better.

This is a long term, fixed term opportunity (till April 2019) with the potential to go permanent.

Being proactive is key in this role as you'll be planning and organising your own work. Communication skills are essential as you'll be speaking to customers, field teams and the Highway Agencies so that work proceeds on time successfully. It would be great if you've worked in a scheduling role before, used SAP Click and have a good knowledge of NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act - but if you haven't don't worry, we can coach and train you to become experts.

Dee Valley benefits include:

This role is based at our Dee Valley site in Wrexham, where a Starbucks is located just off the A483 so you can grab your morning hot drink before work.
