Customer Service Representative - European Language (Ideally German)

My client a manufacturing company based in Rochester, are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 17.00 pm. The suitable candidate must have European language skills, with German being a distinct advantage.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Manage allocated customers working closely alongside the Sales Representatives in your team.
  • Assist customers with any incoming telephone queries relating to customer service matters and if sales related pass over to the appropriate sales person.
  • Update and maintain current pricing and customer data on company software programme.
  • As well as entering orders you will share the workload with the rest of the team by to ensure all order entry is met each day.
  • Acknowledge receipt of order to customer.
  • All other general administrative duties.

Within this role you will spend 50% of your time working on the UK side of the business and 50% on the European side.

We are ideally looking for a candidate with a language skill, ideally German.
