Currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer to join a Local Authority's Adult Social Care team. The role will be based in a busy call centre that deals with vulnerable people and their social care needs. Candidates will be expected to take calls, triage and signpost where necessary and also forward queries and details to other teams for their input as well as deal with Care providers and respond to email enquiries.
Strong customer care skills are essential, as is the ability to use a range of IT systems. The client required a flexible and a reliable individual who can work independently and as part of a team and who can pick up new systems and training quickly. Experience in managing contact with vulnerable residents with sensitivity, tact, empathy and patience is essential as is a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. You will have accurate record keeping/data entry skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, a flexible approach to work and a willingness to support other members of the team as needed.
