The Role
The Customer Service Officer role will portray the following skills and attributes:

  • General administration including:, Filing, and some phone cover
  • To work closely with Business Line Leader to ensure delivery dates are achieved
  • Liaise with customers on delivery dates especially if there may be a delay
  • Raising quotes and sales orders for all products groups, maintaining 24 hour turnaround on quotes
  • Support the Business Line Leader to grow the Business
  • To look after customers in Europe especially Holland and chase up all quotes in this area
  • Improve Customer/Supplier relationships
  • Develop new relationships with new customers
  • Diary management for Business Line Leader to maximize site visits
  • Provide solutions to customer enquires and problems
  • Enhance our client's professional image in the market place
  • Create BOMS and Routes for all product groups
  • Monitor Time & Attendance for the site
  • Arrange and manage Logistic Planning and despatch

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Officer role will portray the following skills and attributes:

  • Ideally Polymer sales experience
  • Proficient user of SAP
  • Understanding of office systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel & Power point
  • Good communication skills
  • Good written and numerical skills
  • A can do approach
  • Able to take initiative
  • Multi language skills an advantage

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in Manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of Sheet & Tape, Hot Moulding, Cold Moulding and Extrusion product groups

Customer Service Officer Benefits

  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • 20 days paid holiday in full first year of employment with 1 day accrued per every additional year up to a maximum of 25 days
  • Company pension plan (once successful completion of probation period)
  • Full time position to cover maternity leave(12 month contract). Office hours vary between hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a 3pm finish on Fridays
