Direct Mortgages are looking for a professional and dedicated manager to join our thriving department.
Whilst you will focus on delivering a first-class mortgage service to our customers, you don’t need to have previous mortgage knowledge or experience. You’ll be passionate about customer service and managing people.
As a customer service manager:
- You’ll lead your team to achieve their goals and maintain high quality performance.
- You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure that all key service levels are achieved, ensuring that the coordinator teams are subject matter experts
- You will take pride in ensuring that a professional, effective and personal service is provided to all telephone mortgage customers.
Telephone Mortgages are focused on providing an outstanding mortgage service to customers who are contacting us in relation to an existing or potential new mortgage application. We are the fastest growing department within the Society and this is an exciting time to be part of the team.
To be a success in the role, you will have previous experience of managing people. You will have strong planning and organisational skills, due to the requirement to manage your team over a seven-day shift pattern.
The ability to develop and coach your team to achieve excellent customer service standards whilst maintaining compliance measures, personal goals and aspirations is essential, as well developing your own potential.

Hours of work: 35 per week
This role is full time, fully flexible over our 7-day shift pattern.
