Customer Service Manager

Osborne Appointments are recruiting for a passionate Customer Service Manager for our client in Borehamwood.

You will be responsible for managing a team of Customer Service Executives, supporting the management of customer requirements and developing the Customer Service team.

Key Details –

Role – Customer Service Manager

Location – Borehamwood

Hours – Monday to Friday

Alternative shifts – 8am – 4pm, 9:30am – 6pm, 10:30am – 7pm

Salary - £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Main Duties –

  • Contributing to compliance processes and ensuring all team members are adhering to these processes

  • Manage the Customer Service Executives, ensuring duties are effectively carried out, providing training and guidance

  • First point of contact for customer issues and complaints

  • Oversee the handling of the central emails

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks

  • Ensure team KPI’s and targets are achieved

  • Complete team briefings and 1-2-1’s

  • Offer support and assistance to all team members

  • Undertake tasks as required by Head of Operations

  • Provide customers with professional advice and information on products and services

  • Maximise revenue opportunities and increase customer retention

  • Maintain accurate and secure records via CRM system

  • Lead by example in the delivery of excellent customer service

Skills required –

  • Telecommunications/Unified communications knowledge and experience

  • Experience of working in a telecoms environment – Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years Customer Service Management experience – Essential

  • Strong relationship building

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst working in pressurised environment

  • Good management skills

  • Ability to set own goals and targets

  • Professional manner

  • Experience of team building

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

  • Ability to organise own workload

  • Flexibility with working shifts
