Customer Service Manager

I have a very well established logistics/courier company, which is offering an attractive salary of £28-29k.

My client is offering a fantastic working environment which is all open plan, so a nice & spacious place to be.

This position is a full time, permanent role! Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:30!

Your duties will be varied & will include the below:

• Act as the main contact with the client, take responsibility for daily contact with existing clients
• Maximise customer satisfaction to retain customers
• Monitor & coordinate solutions for all issues relating to the customer
• You’ll be responsible for resolving complex issues & customer complaints (billing problems, distribution mistakes, non- compliance with deadlines)
• Act as the middle person between the customer & operations in case of any operational issues
• Full responsibility for the administrative support team
• Create deals & contracts
• Ensure compliance with contract terms checked
• Ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the customer database/forms is all up to date
• Front-line contact for all customers for non-sales queries
• Processing of invoicing queries
• Assist in credit & collect escalation where necessary for customer payment issues
• Day to day maintenance of existing customer accounts
• Coordination with Ops/Transport for customer enquiries
• Administrative support for contract renewals
• Coordinate customer activation
• Conduct post-sales follow-up to ensure correct implementation of services & satisfaction of new customer
• Follow-up of small & medium accounts to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and identify up/cross-sell opportunities – Customer Review Calls
• Coordination with Sales in the case of complex/Sales related questions for Key/Large Customers
• Closing of small/medium accounts – standard product/rates
• Preparation of metrics/QBR material for sales meetings
• Identify opportunities to achieve common business objectives

In order to be considered for this position you must have:

• At least 3years’ experience working in this capacity
• Excellent communication skills, written & oral
• Another European language would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge & expertise of processes and procedures applicable to the industry
• Excellent knowledge of the regulations & procedures
• Brilliant MS Office skills including Excel
• Driving licence
