Customer Service Executive - Farnborough - Contract - Up to £10 per hour

A global insurance company based in Farnborough are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their diverse and energetic client services team. This will be a contract role lasting an initial 8 months, with a high chance of being offered a permanent position following the initial contract period.

Looking after a customer base of over 125,000 members worldwide, the Customer Service Executive will work to increase member satisfaction, retention and growth by efficiently delivering competitive services to members.


As the Customer Service Executive, your main responsibility will be effectively dealing with incoming emails and post, including all queries and complaints, and escalating them as appropriate. Your duties will also include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Answering the telephone, making relevant system notes and subsequently passing calls onto appropriate members of staff
  • Processing individual applications and renewals, issuing the supporting documents in accordance with agreed SLAs
  • Liaising closely with the Finance Department in respect of payments received and ensuring that all customer data is stored securely
  • Working closely with internal departments such as Client Membership, Underwriting, Finance and Claims, as well as external contacts such as Brokers, Underwriters and Customers


The Customer Service Executive will have a good level of education with strong communication skills and telephone manner. You’ll have previous experience in a customer service environment, as well as good IT administration skills. You’ll have great organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
