Customer Service Executive

Customer Service Executive with fantastic opportunities!!!


In this role you will work in a challenging, fast paced, customer focused environment, where a proactive approach is key. You will be able to engage effectively with customers and other stakeholders, work well within a small team, be results focused, well organised and able to manage your time efficiently. You will work with the team to continuously develop and implement strategies to deliver best in class customer service.


  • Completion of Near Miss Forms
  • Reporting of Accidents & Incidents
  • Support with the completion of Risk Assessments, being aware of top risks for the area, and communicating these to others.
  • Comply with all HSE policies

Sales Order Processing

  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and supply an order confirmation to the customer within 24hours
  • Ensure all information is entered correctly for reporting key metrics
  • Complete order entry log daily
  • Liaise with customers where necessary

Customer Calls

  • Answer incoming calls within three rings
    • Provide product information and advice
    • Confirm pricing and stock availability
    • Handling customer queries
  • Complete proactive calls for quote follow ups
  • Carry out customer satisfaction calls


  • Provide written quotations within four hours of receiving a customer enquiry
  • Ensure pricing and lead time information supplied is accurate
  • Include product information where necessary

Service Level

  • Providing a high level of customer service during email and verbal communication
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns efficiently, adding detail to concern register when required
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries within 48 hours
  • Support external sales team when required

Additional Duties

  • Process return orders
  • Raise credit notes
  • Attend to general office duties
  • Office based role, should be willing to travel should the need arise

Education (Degree/Major)

Minimum of GCSE passes in English and Mathematics

Other qualifications

Knowledge of IBM Notes, Microsoft; word, excel, powerpoint

Experience working with a CRM and MRP system

Work Experience

Minimum of 2 years working in customer service environment.

Previous experience working within a manufacturing or construction environment desirable.


Fluent both written and verbally in English
