Customer Service Executive - Long Ashton

Posted 14 March by Thornbury Nursing and the Guild Easy Apply

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to move away from a call centre environment and into a varied, interesting and rewarding office based role.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for coordinating the work of our Nurses ensuring that only the very best customer service is provided as well as assisting our recruitment and compliance teams with our onboarding process.

On a day to day basis, you’ll be fielding nurse and client enquiries via telephone and email, resolving their problems and making sure that their Thornbury Nursing Services experience is second to none.

As a Customer Services Advisor you will:

  • Provide telephone guidance to our nurses based throughout the UK.
  • Allocate nurses into shifts within hospitals, care homes, prisons and schools.
  • Establish our nurses’ availability to work and record on our bespoke software.
  • Liaise with our clients about their staffing requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with our recruitment team to source new candidates.
  • Review branch dormant clients and maintain ongoing relationships with them, always promoting our services.
  • Outbond calling to talk with trusts about their staffing requirements.

With full systems training and plenty of support provided, we’re seeking customer-focused Customer Service Advisors with a level-headed approach and some technical know-how. What’s more, at Thornbury Nursing Services we have an industry leading benefits package offering opt-in products including, taste cards, private medical insurance and discounted gym membership.

As (arguably) part of the most important team at Thornbury Nursing Services, you will be eager to take responsibility for any given problem, support the customer with an empathetic ear and provide a first time resolution.

Although there are targets to achieve, the larger focus is on providing great levels of service. To achieve this, you’ll need to be friendly, articulate, calm under pressure and aware of time constraints and how they affect others around you.

As a Customer Service Advisor, your communication skills will be first class, you’ll have plenty of enthusiasm for providing great customer service and you’ll be a great team player. Strong judgement is key, as is a level head and a dependable nature.

We have over 30 years’ experience of responding to last-minute clinical staffing requests. Our service is renowned for being fast, reliable, professional and most importantly trusted.

We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in order to provide our clients and nurses with a highly professional and instantly available service. So that we are best able to meet the needs of our clients, our staff shift patterns mirror those worked in the healthcare industry; shifts are between the hours of 7am - 10pm, over 7 days.

Our office is based in Long Ashton, just outside of Bristol with great public transport links.
