Customer Service Executive - £18,500 Leicester (Whetstone)

Working within a fast paced and growing business your main focus will be to ensure that business to business customers are provided with a first class service. The role is customer facing and as the first point of customer contact will entail the processing of customer orders and schedules with the planning team. You will proactively provide feedback to customers detailing any changes, delays or issues with production of parts or requested delivery times. You will need to interact with external customers and internal departments and maintain a positive and professional approach at all times.

Your day to day duties will include

Making certain that customers feel positive that enquires and complaints will be dealt with in a competent manner.

Listening to customers requirements effectively and efficiently and where necessary implementing actions accordingly.

Proactively keeping customers fully up to date at all times and notifying them of any known issues or information that may conflict with their requirements or cause any delays.

Ensuring that all customer complaints are recorded, providing the necessary details in order to carry out the relevant corrective action, preventative action, credit notes and sundry invoices, where applicable.

Assisting the quality department with customer communication with any relevant concerns

Manage the on time processing of customer orders, schedules, queries and the provision of effective customer service.

To work effectively with the production planning team to ensure on time delivery of parts as per customer demands.

Check and authorise, to an agreed level, RMA, credit, and emergency transport requests

Liaise with the customers directly, to resolve any issues or complaints raised.

Maintain the Sales/Logistics KPIs on a monthly basis and attend the company KPI review meeting.

Processing of all customer orders/schedules effectively and efficiently in accordance with departmental procedures and requirements.

Essential Experience

A proven and successful track record of working within a customer service environment.

Good computer skills and literacy with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Hours of Work

8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday
