We're looking for a hardworking Customer Service Co-ordinator to manage the day to day processing of customer accounts, with pro-active communication both internally and externally. This person will also build collaborative relationships with the customer's key supply chain contacts.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively analyse orders, including identifying demand fluctuation.
  • Regular liaison with stock team and bakery schedulers on availability
  • Pro-actively notify customers on order shorts and any other order queries and concerns.
  • Develop effective, collaborative, relationships with customer to agree on their data and support requirements.
  • Active daily management of "promotions" and daily order trackers.
  • Daily management of forecast and pro-active involvement with the Collaborative Supply Manager (CSM) & Demand Planning Executive (DPE) on same.
  • Agree with customer remedial action required for both availability issues and or IWO risk.
  • Investigate 'root cause’ reasons for shorts and report that to the customer in detail
  • Build effective relationships with commercial teams, DPE & CSM
  • Understand daily picture on stock issues, particularly with any focus on Own label materials - where relevant
  • Be aware of transport running schedule and ensure effective communications with transport and other internal functions including bakeries.
  • Escalate problems to Team Leaders as appropriate
  • Attendance at daily operational meetings if required.
  • Produce reports/stats as necessary.
  • Effectively manage Samples as required.
  • System housekeeping.
  • Manage the daily Available to Promise process expediting stock or changing customer orders
  • Anticipate potential shortages & waste and react

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer focus/service role
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as being a team player, and being agile enough to work to tight deadlines
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritise/manage time
  • Flexible approach
