Customer Service Consultant/Compliance

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To provide effective support to the Recruitment Consultants in delivering an efficient and quality driven level of customer service
To complete the daily administrative tasks of the Compliance function
To ensure the compliance of all Doctors /Nurses in accordance with PaSA guidelines
To adhere to the Data Protection Act and Company policy and procedure
Adopt effective and efficient personal working practices in order to maximise time spent on high value activity
To report any breaches in Compliance immediately to Line Manager

The role requires considerable flexibility in learning & carrying out the individual duties which will be shared between the team. Arrangements for variation between roles may include a monthly rota, temporary cover in the case of another team member’s absence, or longer term placement, each at the discretion of the team Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To provide a comprehensive and enthusiastic service to the Recruitment Consultants - enabling them to confidently rely on the team to support their Doctors in the context of new contracts and ongoing operational support
To acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s operational policies and related statutory regulations - and to use this knowledge to assess and respond to Client requirements
To complete in full all actions required to ensure the Doctor / Nurse is audited and compliant prior to commencing postings
To maintain regular contact with Recruitment Consultants and to send daily updates on compliance status
To log all contact with Doctors / Nurses and inform relevant team
To obtain up to date information from all Doctors / Nurses to ensure records are accurate
To ensure all documents received are correct and signed
To keep the Eclipse system updated and accurate
To accurately process and log all documents and data
To self audit and carry out filing tasks daily
To manage the inflow of documents
To send out application packs, blood packs
To apply for and chase CRB’s
To ensure all Doctors / Nurses have the right to work
To collate all documents from Doctors / Nurses to ensure fully compliant
To attend the BLS when required
To liaise with third parties to ensure Doctors / Nurses full compliance
To provide a rapid response to colleagues and managers requests
To ensure clear and thorough communication is maintained with your section Manager
To manage a positive presence on the desk - motivating self and others and to work together as a team with your colleagues and provide full support to your section manager
To attend meetings and training as required
To review agreed objectives/action plan on a monthly basis to ensure they are reflective of evolving business requirements
Continually develop own knowledge and skills in line with departmental, organisational, market and customer requirements

KEY MEASUREMENTS

Prompt and accurate processing of data
All Doctors / Nurses are fully compliant prior to commencing in a post
Effective communication and co-operation with all colleagues and managers
TLC and IDUK filing is separated into different files and kept up to date
Statutory compliance
