Customer Service Co-ordinator

Hours 24/7 shifts based on 37.5 hours per week. Must be extremely flexible and be within easy commutable distance to Croydon. Shifts can start as early as 06.30 and finish as late as Midnight. You will also be required to work some night shifts and bank holidays.

We provide a range of services on behalf of a number of prestigious Motor Manufactures, from Roadside Assistance, Dealer Services, Customer Support, Warranty Sales and Claims. As first point of contact for our customers, your ability to think on your feet, stay calm under pressure and provide practical solutions to problems quickly and confidently is essential. Working within our Roadside Assistance Team you will be covering shifts on a 24/7 basis, therefore flexibility is key. So if you enjoy looking after customers in stressful situations, can show empathy and understanding for those experiencing problems at the roadside, this could be the role for you. The role involves the following duties:

  • To provide a prompt and courteous service in line with client expectations
  • Ensure first class customer care at every opportunity
  • To proactively respond to assistance calls by advising clients with minor technical queries and providing solutions
  • To provide real time file management in the most efficient and cost effective manner
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of the assistance to ensure all services are provided at the agreed time and that the customer is kept fully appraised of the progress

Ideal candidates will have the following skills/experience:

  • Good standard of education including English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills
  • Good UK geographical knowledge
  • Telephone based customer service experience within a highly regarded customer service environment
  • Ability to deal with customers empathetically in stressful situations
  • Have a 'can do' attitude always putting the customer first
  • Experience of working on a shift basis and understand the importance of time keeping
  • If you drive, have an interest in cars and basic technical knowledge - all the better!
