Customer Service Co-ordinator

A new role based near Banbury, for a personable and proactive Customer Service Co-ordinator, working for a well-established local horticultural distributor.

The Role

The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring consistently high standards are met.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Processing & uploading orders, using SAP and Excel
  • Communicating with customers on the telephone, regarding orders, delivery information, customer queries and managing customer accounts
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team
  • Liaising with the purchasing, transport & accounts/credit control departments

Skills & Experience

  • A motivated & organised individual, with a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems and highly tuned IT skills, particularly Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • The ability to work using your own initiative and within a team environment
  • Good attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy
  • Well-developed numeracy skills
  • Excellent communicator with a clear & confident telephone manner
  • The ability to work under pressure & work to deadlines
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Quick learner
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage, though full training will be given
  • Own transport essential due to location
