CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK - FREIGHT/COURIER
My client is a well established courier company looking for an experienced customer service clerk who can join their busy customer service team!
Duties:
- Answering incoming calls and monitoring/responding to emails in a timely manner
- Booking collections / raising airway bills / POD entry on in-house MIS
- Arranging collections with 3rd party agents in UK and overseas
- Track and trace individual consignments for status updates/PODs
- Liaising with agents and suppliers
- Notifying clients of any shipments delays / updates / weight discrepancies
- Daily filing and housekeeping of Customer Service paperwork
- Develop excellent working relationships, providing support and guidance to the customer at all times
Skills:
- 2 years experience within customer service
- Must have previous freight or courier experience
- Excellent organisation
- Excellent communication skills
Hours:
- Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm
