CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK - FREIGHT/COURIER

My client is a well established courier company looking for an experienced customer service clerk who can join their busy customer service team!

Duties:

  • Answering incoming calls and monitoring/responding to emails in a timely manner
  • Booking collections / raising airway bills / POD entry on in-house MIS
  • Arranging collections with 3rd party agents in UK and overseas
  • Track and trace individual consignments for status updates/PODs
  • Liaising with agents and suppliers
  • Notifying clients of any shipments delays / updates / weight discrepancies
  • Daily filing and housekeeping of Customer Service paperwork
  • Develop excellent working relationships, providing support and guidance to the customer at all times

Skills:

  • 2 years experience within customer service
  • Must have previous freight or courier experience
  • Excellent organisation
  • Excellent communication skills

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm
