Customer Service Assistants are the first point of contact for our customers in branch, they‘re truly at the heart of our customer service.
We’re looking for chatty, confident and helpful people who are passionate about providing excellent service to join our team.
Milton Keynes branch is a friendly and supportive environment where every day is different. Working in the heart of the community our team strive to understand whats important to our members and create a sense of belonging for everyone. This is a 12 month temporary opportunity.
Your main responsibilities are building relationships with our members, completing transactions and handling money responsibly. You’ll support our customer enquiries by giving clear, accurate information in a friendly, professional and efficient way. Being a team player is important, you’ll want to help and care for those around you.
As you increase in confidence, you’ll work through our accreditation scheme moving you through the different levels of the role increasing your responsibilities and pay. You can own your personal development and grow with us.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5pm plus 3 out of Saturday mornings 8.45am - 12.30pm which is paid as overtime

- You’ll have a strong interactive customer service background to be successful, with a positive and flexible attitude.
- We’re looking for someone who's confident to talk to lots of different people so you'll have excellent communication skills.
- You’ll be able to deal with customers’ enquiries in a careful and accurate way and you'll already have cash handling experience
