Selective Recruitment Solutions Ltd are currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a growing customer service team within a well-established business in the Didcot area on a Permanent basis. This position is responsible for providing a consistently excellent and proactive service to business customers to manage customer expectations and ensuring all deadlines and delivery times are met. You will be dynamic, versatile and professional with a strong work ethic and will be flexible to work the hours required for the position.

Job title:Customer Services Assistant
Annual Salary: £18,500 - £19,500
Hours:37.5 per week Monday - Friday (1 in 6 Saturdays)

Primary Duties;
*Efficiently processing customer correspondence and taking ownership of queries, concerns and complaints
*Conducting customer surveys by phone
*Processing customer orders and to provide advice on new products and services
*Processing and accurately logging claims, pricing queries and credit requests
*Effective inbox management and prioritisation of a high volume of time-sensitive emails
*Assisting in the provision of general administrative support for the department including data and filing
*Handling and processing both manual and electronic data with high level of accuracy
*Contributing to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
*Managing relationships and building rapport with named accounts and internal colleagues

Candidate Specification;
*Computer proficient with intermediately working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
*Ability to remain calm, maintain high standards and work effectively under pressure
*Problem solving and trouble-shooting to resolve issues in a timely fashion
*Interpretation of data/information and effective application of knowledge
*Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively whilst managing multiple work streams to tight time lines
*Ability to identify improvement opportunities and effectively utilise tools available to achieve and maintain an efficient way of working
*Uses own initiative and able to consider all options available before escalating and seeking advice
*A good team player who works proactively with others, providing help and support as required and adaptable to a range of varied tasks
*An understanding of finance processes
*Understanding the wider business and seeing the 'bigger picture', anticipating issues and taking preventative action
*Effective objection handling/conflict management skills
