Customer Service and Marketing Assistant

We are a rapidly expanding company that has recently branched out into several new fields, and have plans to do so further. Due to our controlled expansion along with the many new products and services we are introducing we are looking for a key new member of staff.

Key Duties

  • Effectively and efficiently handle telephone calls and record accurate information for a consultant to respond to the enquiry
  • Prepare a wide range of documentation including correspondence and fee proposals
  • Apply and keep up to date any council licences necessary for the sites
  • Assist with producing quotes
  • Prepare invoices and weekly reports
  • Request stage payments from clients
  • Assist with recording changes to contracts and variations requested
  • Monitoring various email’s
  • Maintaining CRM system and accurate data imputing
  • Following up quotations
  • Assist with ordering and logging of supplies and materials
  • Assist with marketing the Social Media and advertising platforms and website news updates
  • Assist with Health & Safety paperwork
  • Liaising with Architects, Structural Engineers, Building Control, Party Wall Surveyors, Contractors and suppliers
  • Book appointments for job surveys

Person Specification

  • Driven to deliver service excellence
  • Previous experience in a customer service position
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Time management skills
  • Reliability under pressure
  • Ability to manage a varied workload
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Confident telephone manner and strong English Language skills
  • Social Media knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Problem solving skills
