Customer Service Balance Transfer Agent

Location: Basildon, Essex (use of own transport is preferred due to location)

Hours of work: Applicants are required to be flexible between Monday to Sunday

Type: Temporary, ongoing

Hourly rate: £7.70 per hour

Start Date: 12th March 2018 (no holidays can be booked during training)

Training will be provided for this position (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for 4 weeks)

You must be able to pass a credit check and criminal record check for these roles.

Duties:

  • Process and initiate transfers and deal with accounts of multi bank services
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Handling merchant queries via telephone on a customer service and technical helpline function
  • Dealing with general operational questions
  • Dealing with third party suppliers
  • Supporting merchants with problems relating to their Electronic Point of Sale Terminal
  • Taking ownership of calls and escalating any complaints/problems
  • Working in accordance with constantly changing procedures
  • Ability to handle 70 - 100 incoming calls per day
  • Giving 100% satisfaction to all customers
