Customer Service Agent

Due to expansion, we have several exciting opportunities to join our Customer Service team in North Manchester as a Customer Service Agent.

The role will be on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off covering both day shifts and night shifts.
Based in North Manchester Nexus is an independent organisation providing specialist services to the private security industry throughout the UK and ROI

Main duties will include:

  • Taking incoming calls and emails.
  • Communicating with our supply chain via phone and email.
  • Booking in client requests/jobs.
  • Managing our supply chain.
  • Conducting workflow client audits.
  • Managing workload via our bespoke systems.

You will be the first point of contact for both customers and suppliers, therefore a high level of customer service is expected.

Previous experience within a busy customer service position is preferred along with good computer skills. You will use an inhouse bespoke system which you will be trained on and you will also need good Microsoft word and excel skills and have experience with commercial email software.

Accurate attention to detail is essential for this role along with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries in a professional manner.

Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate will have to undergo and pass a background check, credit check and screening process to meet British Standard 7858.
