We are looking for a team of Fulfilment Consultants (Online Customer Service Agent) to join our a new online buying team for a motor company in Cirencester.

Due to the nature of the operation, the Fulfilment Team will run extended opening hours, meaning that you will need to be able to work outside of usual business hours, including evening and weekends.

Overall Objective of the Customer Service Agent Role:

To provide Excellent Service to Online customers by handling enquiries, processing orders and managing the customer experience in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities for the Customer Service Agent Include:

  • To handle customer enquiries through all channels (online, telephone, email and post)
  • To accurately record all customer contacts and ensure that up-to-date records are available at all times
  • To act as a single point of contact throughout the customer process of ordering a vehicle Online, managing all customer documentation and ensuring that the customer, the dealer and any relevant CCC staff are updated as required
  • To administer orders, including the finance application process, vehicle registration, applying vehicle extras and any other miscellaneous tasks, working with dealers, third party suppliers and internal staff as required
  • To liaise with internal departments and external companies to resolve any customer issues, working closely with Customer Services to appropriately hand over customer contact where required
  • To contribute to the departmental continuous improvement and Excellent Service programmes
  • To keep up to date with activities within the organisation and the automotive industry in general – especially involvement with customer service
  • To promote the interests of the Company at all times and attend promotions, exhibitions and special events as necessary
  • Any other specific task/responsibility designated to you from time to time as a Fulfilment Consultant

Minimum qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English – minimum grade C or above

Required skills

Essential Requirements for the Customer Service Agent Role:

  • GCSE Maths and English – minimum grade C or above
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to type 55WPM mistake-free (Will need to sit test)
  • Strong customer service bias
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Active listener
  • Able to prioritise duties and manage workload
  • Must be able to work outside of regular office hours, including evenings and weekends

Desirable Requirements for the Customer Service Agent Role:

  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of CCC systems
  • Previous experience managing suppliers / business relationships
  • Self-confidence
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Occasional / possible working away from home (e.g. training, product launches)
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence at all times
