Customer Service Agent - Collections

Adecco have an exciting new permanent position in Doxford, Sunderland

Pay rate: £15k to £17k

Shifts on rota basis 5 over 7 days 8am-8pm


We are recruiting for exceptional Customer Service professionals to join our clients team within their Doxford office.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

The Role:

Working within our collections department at Doxford is a busy and varied role.

The role involves…

Effectively handling customer calls and providing a second-to-none customer service, whilst also managing to work within agreed mandate levels and achieve your performance targets.

Using effective questioning techniques to learn about each customers unique needs as well as assessing their current financial situation and exploring the most suitable and appropriate way forwards for both the customer and the business.

Providing information to the customer that is clear, concise and adheres to regulatory frameworks and legal requirements at all times.

Skills Required

Skilled in communication, problem-solving with the ability to work with the customer.

Enjoy taking ownership and responsibility of your work, having both the skill and confidence to work through a variety of different scenarios as well as knowing when it is appropriate to escalate matters further.

Have the ability to identify opportunities for both process and performance improvement at a personal, team and departmental level.

Excel in managing challenging scenarios through your ability to build swift rapport with the customer and respond effectively in line with customer needs.
