Job Description

The biggest growth area for our client is within their Claims Management department and with that growth comes the need for new Customer Service Agent which is where you come in. The business continues to lead the way as an industry leader in their respected field and there is a huge opportunity for someone joining the business to further your career and have a real impact on their success.

Your role

As the Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for effectively capturing all new claim reports with accuracy and maximise the opportunity for efficient information gathering using conversational management techniques. Opportunities will present themselves and use your sales skills there will be a chance to upsell/cross-sell additional products to assist in maximising business revenue where possible.

About you

You will ideally be a Customer Service Agent and have done a Claims Management role for at least two years within an insurance environment (extra points if you have knowledge or experience with high profile clients) and have been great at it and all that being a Customer Service Agent involves -if it needs explaining then this is probably not for you.

  • Previous experience of working in the claims environment
  • An ability to stay calm, confident and focussed while handling high numbers of incoming calls
  • The ability to reassure others and display high levels of empathy
  • A passion for helping other people who are distressed or anxious
  • Competent at using complex computer systems
  • Numerate and able to understand and process information quickly
  • Literate with the ability to tailor communication suitable for the appropriate audience
  • High levels of attention to detail
