Our client is a very successful insurance broker and due to their continued expansion Staffbase have been apppointed to recruit for the position of Customer Service Advisor.

The position is based at our client's Rugby office where you will provide first class aftersales customer service support as part of a bsuy team.

The Role:

Reporting to the customer service manager your duties include but is not limited to:

  • Answer inbound calls and redirect as necessary
  • Use an in-house computer system to administer insurance policies - update diary system to amend chases for documentation and payments
  • Resolve customer queries or complaints
  • Liaise with insurance companies to confirm cover, premium and other insurance details
  • Process card payments online and issue receipts
  • Quote mid-term adjustments (e.g. additional riders, multi-bike policies, change of address or change of vehicle) to insurance policies and issue relevant documentation
  • Arrange breakdown cover for clients, issue documentation and update insurer's online database
  • Complete call and adjustment spreadsheets to provide a breakdown of individual and team call statistics


You will need an enthusiastic and confident personality allied to a polite telephone manner

High level of personal organisation

Excellent telephone manner

Computer literacy
Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 9am -5.30pm and every other Saturday 9am - 2pm


28 days annual leave
