Our client in the Uxbridge area is looking for a Customer Service Advisor with a strong commercial mindset to enhance customer relationships and uphold our high standards of service. This role is office-based and offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued and rewarded.Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform informal and formal needs assessments for each customer, recommending appropriate products.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with customers, ensuring a friendly and professional service.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the company positively.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive working relationships within the sales and customer service team.
- Accurately record customer information and sales orders digitally or in written form.
- Manage customer accounts, including conducting mailshots and handling inquiries.
- Stay informed about new products and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Handle daily outbound calls and upselling to existing customers.
- Process orders and follow up on sample requests using phone and email.
- Operate the Live Chat System to assist online customers.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in food packaging is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in managing customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Comfortable making minor decisions without direct supervision.
