Our client is a household name in banking, and they are looking to grow their Contact Centre team in Leicester. They place the customer at the heart of everything they do, and joining the Collections team you’ll be doing just that - providing excellent customer service on every call.

Taking calls from customers who are having financially difficulty, no two days will be the same. Through the client’s excellent training and on-going support you will become an expert in your field - able to answer queries, solve problems and make a genuine difference in your customers’ lives.

This is a challenging but highly rewarding role - your performance will be measured against efficiency and service targets. You’ll be using a variety of IT systems while taking inbound calls.

Once you’ve become a master of your trade, the progression opportunities are real - many of the colleagues in the Thornaby office started in a contact centre role and have now progressed into senior management, support functions and mentoring roles.

Offering a total package of up to £18,690 per annum - this opportunity offers a starting salary of £17,000 per annum, working 35 hours per week between 08:00 - 21:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-1900 Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 Saturdays and 10:00-15:00 Sundays. Alongside your salary, there is annual bonus based on company and personal performance (up to £1190) and £500 flexible benefits (which can be added to your basic salary). To be that person, we are looking for people who are:

  • Confident communicators - you need to be able to engage with customers over the phone and translate complex details into easy to understand language
  • Keen to learn - you’ll be given full training and support on the systems, processes and products, but this training will require your full attention
  • Happy to work toward targets - you’ll be measured on your quality and efficiency. Don’t worry as you’ll be given full support, but it does help if you enjoy meeting targets.
