My client is a large national company focused in utilities based in the Portsmouth area. This company are leaders in their field maintaining gas supplies to 5.8 million customers.
This is a busy full time position offering 37.5 hours p/w and you must be flexible with your hours of work . Shifts will be on a 25 week rota, to include 1 week in 5 working 12pm-8pm, other shifts will fall between the hours of 8am-6pm with 1 in 5 Saturdays.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Taking inbound calls from members of the public re new connections, meter moves, gas emergencies and queries regarding gas works in the local area
- Delivering excellent customer service
You will have:
- Previous customer service experience on the telephone - this is essential
- The desire to do your very best for the customer on each and every occasion
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Be a good problem solver

Your starting hourly rate will be £9.22 to £9.52 per hour (including shift allowance),
For the first 12 weeks your pro rata holiday allowance will be 20 days plus 8 bank holidays increasing to 25 days plus 8 bank holidays after 12 weeks.
