The main duties expected to be undertaken include:
*Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers
*Advising and reviewing insurance requirements for both new and existing customers
*Supporting the claims service and customers during insurance claims
*Maintaining customer policy records, including detailing any mid-term amendments
*Ensuring money collection and processing procedures are implemented and followed
*Dealing with incoming calls and emails, and redirecting them to the appropriate department when required
*Helping to achieve company targets through a comprehensive knowledge of company products and identification of cross selling opportunities
*Producing follow up correspondence for customers
*Providing administrative support to other departments of the company when required
The successful candidate must have:
*Strong communication skills, via face-to-face, telephone and email communications
*Excellent customer service skills
*Good computing skills, including confident use of all Microsoft packages and ability to learn in-house systems
*Ability to use own initiative and judgement to solve problems as they arise
*High attention to detail
*Strong numeracy skills
*Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner
*Ability to organise and prioritise own workload effectively
*Previous knowledge of insurance would be beneficial
