Customer Service Advisor

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor in the Wolverhampton area with our well-established client.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A to D (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within customer service/call centre
  • Knowledge of MS office and software houses SSP and OGI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in working to strict compliance targets


  • Salary: £21,000 per annum and bonus up to £1,000
  • Working Hours: Week one 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri and week two Mon-Fri 11:30-19:00 Wed, Thurs and Fri 12:00-18:30 (Alternate Saturdays 09:00-15:00)
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Respond to enquiries about products and services by telephone, fax, email, letter or face to face
  • Deliver excellent customer service to the clients
  • Work effectively to achieve KPI's
  • Resolve client's queries
  • Get quotations using in house systems, rating guides or refer to insurers and communicate them to the client
  • Issue invoices, receipts, policy documents and handle payments.
  • Update clients details accordingly
  • Assist in handling referrals
  • Ensure product knowledge is up to date
  • Any ad hoc duties requested by line manager
