Customer Service Advisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for an extremely professional and successful organisation based in Knaresborough as a Customer Service Advisor. Our client is looking for an individual with excellent customer service experience who has the ability to build relationships, influence and work with minimal supervision.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving incoming and making outgoing calls, working to KPI's

  • Listening to customers needs and requirements

  • Discuss details of company products

  • Ability to influence and negotiate without pressurised sales techniques

  • Logging all relevant information into the in house system

  • Transferring calls and taking messages

Ideal experience:

  • Proven listening and general communication skills within a customer service/sales role – ideally telephone/call centre environment as all duties desk-based;

  • Some level of insurance / compliance experience would be beneficial;

  • Use of CRM systems & MS Outlook;

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary of £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience

  • Working hours 9.00 -5.00pm Monday to Friday

  • On-site car parking

  • 20 days holidays plus stats and two further discretionary days

  • Company pension with employer contributing 5%

  • Life assurance at 2 x salary

  • Discretionary bonuses
