Customer Service Advisor

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor in the Solihull area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will need to have/be:

  • Previous customer service experience in a telephone based role
  • Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on maintaining target call volumes
  • An understanding and knowledge of the mortgage industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Salary: Up to £20,000.00 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
  • Working Hours:
  • 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
  • OR 20 hours per week Monday-Friday 11.00am-3.00pm (times negotiable)
  • Location: Solihull
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Customer Service Advisor:

  • To work as part of a telephone based team handling new lending enquiries
  • To make and receive calls from applicants to verify the transaction detail and accuracy of data received
  • Liaising with underwriters and communicating lending decisions
  • Proactively chasing outstanding information
  • Managing, organising and updating information into systems, internal databases and paper files
