Customer Service Advisor

An exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Executive to join this extremely successful family run business. As a Customer Service Executive you will be joining a friendly and very busy team, who speak with existing customers on a regular basis, placing orders for a wide variety of quality products.

As a Customer Service executive duties will include:

  • answering phone calls from various clients in a polite and friendly manner

  • logging and processing customer orders on the internal system ensuring a strong attention to detail at all times

  • dealing with delivery enquiries and solving any delivery discrepancies

  • printing off delivery notes and invoices

  • filing

  • sorting and sending out post

The ideal candidate will have

  • some telephone / customer service related work experience gained in an office environment, order processing experience would be an advantage

  • a flexible, friendly and helpful manner

  • a 'hands on' approach

  • the ability to learn quickly

  • great attention to detail

  • the ability to work as part of a busy team

The hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, candidates will need to be flexible to cover the 10am-6pm shift during holidays and sickness. The successful candidate must be able to work one Sunday a month (on a rota basis) from 1pm for approximately 6 hours.

Full training will be given on all aspects of the role; there is also an opportunity to study for an NVQ in Customer Service within office hours.
