Our client is an incredibly reputable automotive manufacturing business and they are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team.

Customer Service Advisor
Summary
You will be responsible for interfacing with the customer; arranging product and parts, sales and delivery.
This is to be achieved by effective communication with our customers and other internal departments, helping us to deliver on time, and to satisfy our customers.

Main Responsibilities
• Receiving schedules/orders from customers and creating sales orders on the integrated business system
• Keeping the Customer informed of delivery dates obtained from production planning and purchasing
• Maintaining all relevant information, such as, part numbers, prices and schedules
• Answering customers concerns and assessing and resolving queries received from internal and external customers
• Processing new sales prospects and enquiries, assisting with preparing commercial offers
• Providing a high level of commercial support to defined customer accounts
• Obtaining technical and commercial information in response to customer requirements as required. Use own initiative to resolve problems
• Preparing and maintaining information for key performance sales measures
• Dealing with incoming calls from potential/existing customers
• Travel to visit customers may be required
• Assist other team members with their responsibilities as and when required
• Update and maintain the business system.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
• Educated to degree level preferred but not essential
• Minimum GCSE grade C in Mathematics and English
• Computer literacy is essential
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably IFS.

Personal Qualities
• A high degree of numeracy, attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to and organise changing priorities
• Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.

Salary Benefits and Conditions of Appointment
• Salary negotiable but is depending on qualifications and experience
• 39 hour week
• Holidays - 24 working days holiday plus statutory days. Holiday allowance increases by one day per full year of service to a maximum of 29
• The company operates a Group Personal Pension Scheme, which you will be eligible to join after three months continuous service, if you are under the age of 75, and are a UK resident
• Death in service
