Customer Service Advisor

I am recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor role within a financial services business based in Birmingham.

Client Details

My client is a financial services business based in Birmingham. As a business they invest heavily in their staff and pride themselves on their training structure, management team and their values.


Your role as a Customer Service Advisor will involve:

  • Dealing with enquiries/complaints from both in and outbound calls
  • Maintain and develop key customer relationships
  • Raising POs, processing invoices, carrying out other administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, filing
  • Inputting relevant data onto in house systems and logging all calls
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting with any other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the business


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previously worked as a Customer Service Advisor within a financial services business previously
  • Possess strong communication skills and have the ability to problem solve quick and effectively
  • Possess a knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Be flexible to work Saturdays when necessary
  • Have a clear and endearing telephone manner
  • Be able to commit to a long term future with the business
  • Be hardworking and able to prioritise workload effectively
