Blisworth, Northamptonshire (a blend of home and office based)

£22,000 per annum Plus Benefits including Pension, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, 20 Days’ Holiday increasing with service, Full-Time Position

A vibrant, world-class and innovative recycling and renewable energy company has a vacancy for a Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis. The role will be a blend of home and office based.

Our client is the UK’s market leader for the collection and conversion of catering waste streams into renewable energy such as electricity, mains gas and biodiesel. They are also the UK’s leading supplier of vegetable oils for the catering industry.

They are recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join them at an exciting time in their journey. If successful, you’ll be joining a friendly, focused, supportive and professional team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will become part of the success of a company which is making a real difference to the UK’s circular economy and to the fight to reduce the impact of global climate change.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll help to deliver a high-quality service to customers. Your other duties will include:

- Customer service - dealing with collection and delivery requests by email and telephone, the resolution of service issues, requests for information and customer account set-up

- Consistently delivering customer service excellence

- Administrative work necessary for the role

- Working Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week from 0830 to 1700

You will need:

- Proven experience in an admin environment preferred

- Experience of customer services

- Ability to work in a busy office environment

- Some experience of IT systems including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook

- Good telephone and communication abilities

- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C /4 or equivalent

- The ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities

- Organised with a strong customer focus

- The ability to understand and follow set processes

- Be available to spend the first week in the Blisworth office for training

Essential for home working:

- Have a quiet, uninterrupted, dedicated and suitable workspace with a good / reliable internet connection. IT equipment (laptop etc) will be provided.

Your first week will be office based for training in the role and on our client’s systems. There will also be plenty of opportunities to participate in our ongoing in-house training programme.

Customer service, call centre, retail, or catering experience could help your application but above all, they’re looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn, work hard and progress in a fast-developing and innovative renewable energy company with an exciting future.
