Customer Service Advisor - Live Chat

Here at Tech Mahindra we have a great opportunity for people to join our dedicated Live Chat - Customer Service Team.

As part of the Live Chat - Customer Service Team you will be a brand ambassador providing a professional and engaging experience to our clients’ loyal customers. You are the digital voice of our business and therefore you will need to ensure your personality, professionalism and engaging personality comes through your finger tips in the form of exceptional customer experience.

The role:

You will be providing a quick, effortless and exceptional customer service experience to our clients’ customers via Live Chat. You will handle multiple customers at the same time and ensuring customer experience is at the heart of all your communications. You will navigate through various systems and in most cases, you will be able to resolve these queries for customers, or on some occasions you may need support from colleagues in other departments.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 6 months customer service experience (this can be via Live Chat, Face to Face or Call Centre)
  • You will have a natural passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be able to build rapport quickly with customers regardless of the platform
  • You will have good listening skills and be intuitive to identify and react to how customers are feeling and be able to respond in a positive and engaging manner
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good spelling and grammar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write non-standard responses using conversational language, as well as applying the right tone, demonstrating a range of interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to targets but ensure customer experience is your primary focus
  • Ability to multi-task and use various systems whilst engaging with customers over the phone, on live chat or over email
  • Fully flexible to work 40hrs per week between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday (working 5 days out of 7) - Currently we only work from 9am to 7pm
