Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with an award-winning and rapidly-expanding car finance company who are looking to recruit an intelligent and ambitious Customer Service Advisor to join their modern and vibrant Oxford offices.
As Customer Service Advisor you will be the initial point-of-contact for each customer, managing their customer experience and ensuring that they receive impeccable customer service throughout. This will include regularly liaising with customers and car dealerships whilst responding to customer queries via telephone, email and an online portal.
As Customer Service Advisor you will also be responsible for supporting customers directly with regards to updating or clarifying their information, whether that be contact details, insurance claims, or financial issues therefore an amazing customer-focused approach combined with real attention to detail is a must.
The successful Customer Service Advisor will, therefore, need to be friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic with a good working knowledge of the financial or motor industries (or be super motivated to learn!), and the ability to empathise with customers but also enforce any sensitive finance-related issues.

- Good working knowledge of the motor or finance industry (or super ambitious to learn)
- Experience of working within a customer service role, ideally telephone-based, financial or automotive
- A strong academic background

- Enthusiastic, friendly and approachable with the ability to build and maintain a rapport with customers and car dealers alike
- Strong organisation skills with the initiative to prioritise a high workload
