Job Title: Depot Clerk

Salary: £16,000

Location: Poole

Contract - we have 2 positions available, one permanent and one temporary.

The Company

A UK gas distribution company which manages the network that distributes natural and green gas to 5.8 million homes and businesses across Scotland and the south of England.

The Role

As a Depot Clerk administrator you will be working closely with the depot administration team. Here you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of depot activities, providing support in a professional manner and taking responsibility for effectively completing tasks in accordance with set timescales. Within this role you should be prepared to take the initiative to minimise or prevent anticipated problems, and must be committed to providing excellent levels of customer service at all times. This role entails both customer service and administration.


The right candidate will:

  • Be committed to providing excellent levels of customer service
  • Be a good team worker
  • Be capable of working to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice
  • Have the ability to communicate professionally in person, by phone and in writing
  • Be a neat and accurate worker, computer literate and ideally competent in Microsoft software packages such as Word and Excel
