Our New Lending area in Coventry or Gloucester are recruiting for Customer Service Administrators who are responsible for processing and underwriting all our mortgage applications.
Our mortgage growth is extremely strong representing growth of 9%, nearly three times faster than the current market. How exciting to be part of the team that delivers this growth!
About the role:
Your day to day activity involves processing mortgage applications via our internal systems whilst verifying customer’s documents such as:
- Proof of I.D
- Review Bank Statements for conduct of finances
At times mortgage applications require further investigation and you will be required to make calls to the customers, mortgage brokers, intermediaries and valuer’s to discuss in more depth.
You will have experience in working in either a customer facing/customer service environment or a admin/processing environment that is fast paced.
Progression within the role:
Once you’re fully competent at this level, you will be trained to take on additional tasks. This involves complex processing and decision-making tasks such as reviewing valuation reports and undertaking action required.
We also offer a pay progression scheme that award an increase in pay as you work from your appointment level to High Achiever.
The Lending area manages the entire lifecycle of a mortgage account. This encompasses all aspects of mortgage processing, from receipt of the initial application, underwriting to completion and then servicing the needs of existing customers, through to final redemption. Through our internal recruitment process and training there is the opportunity to develop into a mortgage underwriter career.
