The role of the Customer Service Advisor Administrator is to provide the administrative requirements of the business relating to the provision and delivery of services to clients.
- Customer Contact
To answer all incoming enquiries from customers received over the telephone or via other means. To systematically contact all customers in the activity lists, via a mix of email and outbound calling, and keep up to date with the volume of contact and activity required.
- Database Management
To enter all orders onto our customer database, and record specific details on a variety of additional spreadsheets.To maintain accurate customer records updating them with every contact made, and scheduling future work based on customer feedback.To ensure that information is always up to date and serves the needs of the department and the rest of the business.
To prepare materials required for events, such as photocopying binders or organising hotels and catering supplies.
To develop relationships with engineering, sales and end-user customers to ensure you have the information required to fulfil commitments to them, and they in turn they have a point of contact at the company.
- Reporting and Feedback
Keep the Business Manager fully up to date with progress and all relevant activity within administration.To provide management information as required.Make suggestions for improvements and be prepared to take responsibility for implementing new procedures.
- Previous office-based customer service experience - both telephone and email based.
- Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Performs well under pressure, managing time effectively.
- Knows when to make decisions independently and when to escalate to a higher level.
- Ability to build effective customer relationships, and to guide and advise people with confidence.
