Customer Service Administrator – Chelmsford - £18,000-£20,000 - Per Annum

Our client provides innovative and cost effective asbestos testing solutions and training to customers across the property industry. They’ve been in business for 12 years and have helped their customers significantly reduce the cost of identifying and removing asbestos from their properties.

You’ll also need to be a dog lover as on occasion Poppy has been known to roam the office.
This role will help new and existing customers by handling new enquiries, administering the requirements of existing customers and supporting the smooth running of the office.
Core duties will include:
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Sales and service calls
- Creating testing kits
- Processing customer orders
- Maintaining stock
- Co-ordinating training courses
The Person Specification
To be successful in this role you will be a proactive, reliable and conscientious team player who is willing to muck-in as needed to ensure the business provides its customers with excellent service levels.
You will have good organisational skills, attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of your responsibilities and the confidence to turn enquiries into sales when handling telephone calls.
Core office IT skills (Word, Excel) and the ability to work with our in-house database systems are a must.
You will have a good all round education to underpin your workplace skills. This is likely to include GCSE Math’s and English at Grade C or above as a minimum.
We’re not expecting you to have detailed knowledge of our niche services and will provide full training on our products and services so you can be successful in this role.
