My Client is looking for a Customer Sales Specialist for one of their Care Homes in Brokenhurst. They are a Prize Winner provider of Care with an excellent reputation. This is a full Time permanent position with immediate start for the right candidate.

Customer Sales Specialist

The purpose of this post is to:

The Customer Sales Specialist is responsible for the sales and marketing of the Care Home.

Reports to: General Manager

Responsible for:

  • The Customer Sales Specialist is responsible for effectively marketing the Care Home through finding and delivering qualified leads.
  • The Customer Sales Specialist is responsible for selling the Care Home through discovering, presenting and closing qualified leads and referral sources with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted census and revenue goals.
  • The Customer Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring positive and successful move-in experience for new residents.
  • The Customer Sales Specialist is responsible for communicating new resident information to fellow team members.
  • The Customer Sales Specialist, as a key representative of the Care Home, is expected to help foster a positive atmosphere in the Care Home.

Essential Key Duties:

Sales

  • Effectively track each prospect from initial inquiry through the final decision
  • Maintain a thorough working proficiency on the lead management system
  • Keep all prospect records current on a daily basis
  • Build a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by:

o Understanding prospect’s needs and concerns

o Overcoming and answering objections

o Thoroughly and properly understanding the Care Home product

  • Ensure that show suite(s)/apartment(s) are well maintained
  • Ensure that all team members in the Care Home understand that marketing is everyone’s responsibility and are knowledgeable and trained in their role of marketing and sales and customer service/telephone etiquette
  • Hold weekly meetings with the General Manager to review and sign off on the upcoming weeks
  • Submit on a timely basis requested information and reports
  • Participate in continuing education programmes and attend seminars to maintain awareness of marketing and industry ideas

Census/Budget

  • Ensure that resident budget and/or a census of 95% or higher is maintained
  • Ensure that all resident charges paperwork is processed appropriately
  • Assist with the development of the Care Home annual sales and marketing budget
  • On a continual basis, monitor and manage the marketing budget

Marketing

  • Set, track, and accomplish goals on a timely basis for the following:

o Completed calls

o Mailings

o Leads generated

o Appointments set

o Presentations

o The close

  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans and schedules, such as:

o Advertising (print, direct mail, etc.)

o Special events, networking programmes

o Public relations

o Other marketing plans as appropriate

  • Organise a networking and community outreach programmein order to obtain qualified leads and appointments
  • Practice effective telephone skills producing qualified leads and appointments

Resident Move-in Process

  • Oversee the move-in process for each resident, ensuring that all activities involving the move-in process are complete, as listed on the Resident Move-In Checklist
  • Create the resident’s Administrative File and ensure that all move-in paperwork is complete and correctly processed
  • Ensure that all resident’s Administrative Files are set-up in regulatory compliance on or before the date of move-in
  • Assist new residents and family members on the day of move-in to with the transition to their new home
  • Visit each new resident to evaluate his or her adjustment within 24 hours of move-in and make subsequent visit within 30 days
  • Call family members within 48 hours to offer an update on the transition

Communication and Professional Knowledge

  • Possess a strong understanding of the Company and the services provided in order to effectively present the Company to prospects, caregivers, and influencers
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Company’s policies and procedures that impact on sales and marketing

Qualifications

  • Successful track record in consultative sales (including generating leads, uncovering needs and closing)
  • Enjoys interacting with seniors
  • Good organisational skills and time management skills
  • Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Company applications with the ability to learn new applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and facilitate small group presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstration of effective interpersonal skills

Salary: £30-35K OTE £55-60K
