Sales / Customer Relationship Manager

A reputable house builder have an exciting opportunity for a Sales / Customer Relationship Manager to join their sales & marketing team based in Norfolk

The company have been awarded HBF 5 star rating in customer satisfaction for the past ten years and put their customers at the forefront of their business. The company specialise in luxury accommodation consisting of living accommodation, commercial and leisure facilities to provide quality living for home owners in affluent areas across the region.

The Role

To maintain their 5 star rating and customer service focus they have introduced a new role as a Sales / Customer Relationship Manager to join their sales & marketing team. You will be responsible for managing the database of prospective customers and the contact strategy for all upcoming developments and providing a seamless and effective handover to the Sales Executive 2-4 months prior to sales launch.

Duties to include:

" Implement a contact strategy to ensure we have an ongoing relationship with enquirers throughout whole process from land exchange to sales release.
" Follow a set brief to deliver key messages and updates to telephone enquirers and log key information onto customer database.
" Update and maintain mailing lists of all enquiries on a site specific basis and send out mail-shots as required.
" Generate reports of enquirers from the database enquiry system and any other available sources (direct customers and third parties).
" Work closely with Marketing Department to generate marketing activity where database enquiry numbers are low.
" Handle requests from Marketing Department for information from mailing lists prior to release.
" Assist in the set-up of marketing events in conjunction with the Marketing Executive and attend such events when required.
" Attend sales launch events.
" May be required to set up appointments to visit prospective customers/third parties at their home or other appropriate public place from time to time
" Obtain from the relevant departments all advance information for forthcoming sites to prepare an information bank for enquirers.
" Liaise with customer contact centre
" Submit weekly progress reports on progress with database statistics to the Sales & Marketing Director.
" Ensure that there is a seamless handover of the database between the CRM and the Sales Executive prior to sales launch.
" Always fully comply with McCarthy and Stone's policies and procedures.
" Participate in IT training as required.

Skills & Experience

" Previous sales experience is a pre-requisite, preferably gained in a similar environment.
" Experience in telephone sales / customer service environment
" Experience of developing and following up enquiries via telephone within set timescales.
" Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills (written and verbal).
" Customer relationship and Customer service focussed, empathetic, patient and understanding of differing needs and priorities of others.
" Sound administration and coordination experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
" Good Microsoft Office and database administration skills
" Team player, Professional and approachable
